DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 14, 2022 –  Brown & Brown is pleased to welcome Brian Dermond as managing director, multinational practice for Brown & Brown. In addition to coordinating owned and affiliated international network partners, he will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of multinational insurance solutions for a broad range of industry segments. Brian will work out of the Atlanta, GA office and report to Joe Siech, chief executive officer of the Risk Solutions team.

Dermond has more than 16 years of experience as a thought leader in global insurance, specializing in program design for the M&A, non-profit, higher education, construction and aerospace industries. Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Brian held various roles within the insurance industry with experience in underwriting, multinational program coordination and managing the Defense Base Act, Foreign Casualty and WorldRisk products for AIG.

Brian graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is currently working towards completing the final steps for his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
