Fleet Insurance
Block Coverage for Your Business Vehicles
Overview
Fleet Insurance can be advantageous; by consolidating your motor vehicles under one policy, you can secure the appropriate level of cover, with a convenient single renewal date. This will streamline the insurance process and provide potential savings in terms of time and money with the rating applied by insurers relative to the performance of the total policy and not an individual vehicle. This insurance option is widely employed by businesses operating a number &/or diverse range of vehicles including cars, vans, HGVs, minibuses, coaches, couriers, and taxis. Obtaining adequate coverage for your fleet of vehicles and drivers is essential, providing you with peace of mind.

How We Can Help
The highly knowledgeable fleet specialists at Brown & Brown, have the skills required to find you a block policy that can meet your unique insurance requirements. The administrative nightmare can be solved by having a comprehensive Motor Fleet Insurance option in place, as all your vehicles can be easily managed under one policy. Fleet Vehicle Insurance aims to get your business back on track efficiently.

What is Typically Covered?
- Business Fleet Insurance – We recognise the distinctive requirements of commercial businesses that operate multiple vehicles, regardless of the fleet size. Consolidating your vehicles under a single policy helps to streamline administrative tasks.
- The policy can be based on you adding vehicles and removing vehicles as and when required like any motor insurance policy. Alternatively, if your business has regular changes to its vehicle fleet, rather than having to inform us every time a vehicle is changed you may be able to consider a policy on a “declaration basis”. This will mean the policy will automatically include any vehicle which is purchased, acquired, or deleted by the company in the intervening period without having to notify us. A declaration, at pre agreed periods, of any changes is then completed for the agreed period and the premium is adjusted accordingly.
- Cover & Driver options are similar to standard motor insurance, and it is possible to model the fleet insurance to your specific requirements.
- Depending on the package provided there may be cover extensions included.
What is Not Typically Covered?
- Breakdown cover
- Specialist vehicles (Steam rollers, cranes, bulldozers, etc.)
- Damage caused by wear and tear
