Megan Leslie
Senior Director of Account Management, Brown & Brown Risk Solutions

Megan Leslie is the Senior Director of Account Management at Brown & Brown – Risk Solutions.  She has over 13 years of Pharmacy Benefit Management experience.  Megan focuses on key client projects such as RFPs, market checks, audits, and other ad hoc requests. This also includes supporting Health Plan & Employer Group clients with their ongoing PBM relationship and strategy.  Prior to joining Brown & Brown in 2021, Megan spent 10 years at a large Pharmacy Benefit Manager.

 

Laura Birkel
Senior Managing Director, Medical and Pharmacy Consulting Practice Leader

Laura Birkel is the Senior Managing Director of Pharmacy Management Services at Brown & Brown – Risk Solutions.  Laura has over 15 years of PBM consulting experience and oversees all pharmacy management services and client relationships.  Expertise and client services include RFP development and negotiation, reporting, vendor oversight/management, auditing, and cost management strategy development.

 

Frank Bacon
Senior Vice President – Pharmacy Consulting

Frank serves as Brown & Browns’ Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Consulting.  He provides advisory services to Brown & Brown clients and consultants, supporting efforts to manage effective delivery of prescription benefits to employees while maximizing cost efficiencies. Frank joined Brown & Brown in 2016.

Frank’s responsibilities include advising clients in the area of pharmacy benefit design and PBM contracting.  This entails creating customized PBM contracts based on client-specific utilization, conducting audits of pharmacy claims experience to ensure contracted rate adherence, as well as establishing and maintaining collaborative purchasing arrangements to minimize cost for Brown & Brown clients.

Frank brings over 10 years of pharmacy experience to Brown & Brown, most recently working as a PBM Network Pricing Consultant for one of the nations largest Pharmacy Benefit Managers. His experiences working in the PBM industry allow him to provide Brown & Brown clients unique insight as to how to manage and mitigate cost in the face of a complicated and costly pharmacy benefit delivery system.
