Attend the CAL/OSHA General Industry Certification Course to learn about the following safety and health topics:
- Introduction to OSHA and CAL/OSHA
- Walking and working surfaces, including fall protection
- Exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention plans and fire protection
- Electrical
- Personal protective equipment
- Hazard communication
- Health hazards
- Injury and illness prevention program (IIPP) and heat illness prevention
- Tools and equipment
- Materials handling
